Bake Sale and Talent Show

Just a friendly reminder that there will be a Bake Sale on the evening of the Talent Show, May 24th.
All money raised will support the Grade 5/6 trip to Ottawa. Please consider making a donation of baked goods!
The Talent Show will begin at 7PM and the Bake Sale will begin at 6 PM!

          - Solids: Complete the tables with the names, number of faces, number of edges, and number of
              vertices
           - Angles from A-Z: Finding all the right, acute and obtuse angles in the word MATH

SHOULD THERE BE ZOOS?

Wild animals and captive-born animals are commonly kept in captivity in such places as zoos, safari parks, shelters and aquariums. They are placed in captivity for different purposes - for the protection of endangered species, the welfare of injured animals, as well as for education and entertainment purposes.

Over the next week, students will explore a variety of related information addressing both sides of the issue - against zoos and in favour of zoos. Working together, students are to consider the issue and determine their own viewpoint.
